Happy Sunday, I hope you’re well!
It’s been another busy week here in (sometimes) sunny South East London.
The Easter holidays have been in full swing I’ve had a great time running some holiday ART clubs for local mini folk (and even a couple from WEST London too!).
This week we painted bunnies, created origami flowers and looked at the books of one of my favourite author/illustrators Claudia Boldt.
We immersed ourselves in the world of Harold, the vegetarian FOX and created our very own FOXY characters (and more) complete with interactive DEN.
Here’s a peep at one of the many paper puppet creations…
We LOVED Easter Art Club! And new dates are booking now for summer holiday clubs for your littles too…
This time hosted from the wonderful community gardens in SE London, Grow Mayow. I can’t wait! Here’s the link
It’s not really ‘colouring-in’, BUT essential fuel none the less, and I did draw a pic of it below too…
We made a YUMMY coffee trifle last week, using up some left over sponge from a tray bake and layering it up with three espressos, a drizzle of maple syrup, tinned custard from the corner shop (nothing else will do) whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
Luckily the kids aren’t too keen on trifle so we grown-ups polished it off without too much trouble!
I can’t think of a better way to use up some left over cake!
NEW stuff we discovered this week.
That thing when your eyes are really relaxed on the train and go all flickery when you’re looking at the landscape outside going past at speed…
My little ones found this VERY entertaining!
And don’t forget to tune in this Wednesday to my FREE Creative dOOdling tester workshop, live from my desk at 7.30pm UK time!
Zoom codes will be heading out on Wednesday lunchtime, so keep your eyes peeled!
Hope to see you there!
In the mean time have a lovely Sunday.
Wish you were here!
The trifle sounds delicious - but how did you end up with left over cake in the first place?! 😂
