pUppY schOOl
We went to puppy school! It was HILARIOUS.
‘Twas our first time ever so didn’t know quite what to expect. Am prepping and taking drawing fodder next time and shall sit sketching on the sidelines while the girls show Enid the ropes.
For now, I played the memory game and did some speedy miniature sketches of some of the puppy class crew. It was literally like a scene from The Secret Life Of Pets.
There were teeny ones, FLUFFY ones, even fluffier ones, growly ones, boingy ones, hairy ones, goofy ones... All learning the stuff. When they listened and weren’t completely over excited by each other’s bottoms.
Looking forward to some actual action sketching next week. Memory drawings aren’t cutting it in terms of, well, all the action!
I also drew this dude this week. Would have LOVED to have met him at puppy school.
Once we got back home and de-mudded we made a peach upside down cake. Eaten this afternoon with Birds custard and a cuppa. Yum.
Love that the kids still (just about) need to stand on the step stool to grease the tin.
I secretly took the lions share of the raw cake mix 🫣
