YOOO hooo!
I hope you’re well.
We’re having a lovely time here. The sun is out, we have strawberries, a tin bath full of water to cool our toes in the garden and birdies tweeting in the trees.
Wish you were here!
Today I wanted to share some snippets of a project I helped work on for our local school with the wondrous Sarah Horne (a marvellous author illustrator and friend of mine).
We worked with the children at Horniman Primary School to create a Favourite Recipe Book, celebrating diversity through food (YUM).
Sarah and I spent a day in school back in the Spring, working on illustrations with the kids, to add colour and pictures to the stack of recipes collected from pupils attending the school. I then helped collate them into a 96 page book packed with foodie fodder from the littles.
It’s SUCH a fun book and the recipes throughout are GREAT. Here’s a little peep inside.
Let me know if you have a go at any!
Love working with the kids. Their imaginations are ENDLESS. I strive to be as free thinking as they are, daily ☺️
Happy Sunday!
